Health and Wellness Guarantee
The Breeder ensures that the African Grey parrot is in excellent health at the time of adoption and is up to date on all necessary veterinary health checks, vaccinations (if applicable), and parasite prevention treatments. The Breeder provides the following comprehensive health and wellness guarantee:
a. Veterinary Examination:
The Buyer must take the parrot to a licensed avian veterinarian for a thorough health examination within seven (7) days of receiving the bird.
If the veterinarian identifies any underlying illness or serious congenital defect, the Breeder will refund the full adoption fee, including any transportation costs, upon the bird’s return in good condition.
b. Congenital or Genetic Conditions:
The Breeder guarantees the parrot to be free from any known congenital or genetic conditions at the time of transfer. If such a condition is diagnosed by two (2) licensed avian veterinarians, the Breeder will either replace the parrot with another of equal value or refund the full adoption fee, including any transportation costs, upon return of the bird.
c. Communicable Diseases:
If the parrot is diagnosed with a communicable disease (such as Psittacosis or PBFD) within the first fourteen (14) days after the Buyer receives the bird, the Breeder will refund the full adoption fee, including any transportation costs, upon the bird’s return.
